First Aid at Work - Certificated Course
Training provided by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust - Commercial Training Services
Approved by the Health and Safety Executive and meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
(revised 1990).
It is essential that every workplace has designated personnel who are trained in first aid techniques. The course provides expert tuition in first aid, along with theoretical knowledge. Students who pass the exam will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate which is valid for three years.
Included are first aid books, wallet card and other course materials.

• Wounds and Bleeding
• The Respiratory System
• Bandaging and Dressings
• Unconsciousness
• Burns and Scalds
• Eye Injuries
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Record-keeping.
